As you can see, Poplar Park is bordered by farmland and forest. The Park is suprisingly easy to get to though, being just a leisurely 15 minute drive from the lovely market town of Woodbridge:
From the A12 follow the signs for Rendlesham, Melton and Sutton Hoo.
Follow the road downhill to the traffic lights, continue straight over these and shortly afterwards, Melton railway crossing.
At the mini roundabout, take the second exit up a steep hill. Continue past Sutton Hoo on your right handside.
Shortly after, take the left hand turn signposted 'Hollesley 5 miles'.
Follow this road for a few miles, passing RAF Woodbridge on your left handside, until you reach a fork in the road. Take the righthand fork up a small hill.
After approximately 2 miles the village of Hollesley starts with a sharp lefthand bend, our driveway is on the right of this bend.
Follow the track until the carpark looms up on your left.
If your arriving in your lorry for XC schooling, or an event keep following the track until it forks and take the lefthand fork signed XC Schooling & Event Traffic.
